In Memory of my Dear Little cousin

I am blogging today in memory of my little cousin Emily Marie Fattoruss.

You well be remembered, I well see you when I get there.

Lets see this past month has seemed so long. Maybe its the dark or the cold or the missing the family but it is finally over and we are on to another winter month. We have done lots of fun things this winter so far.

The first exciting thing that happened is Sidney got her first strip in Karate.

Then my Father in Law had his car filmed for the new movie "Frozen Ground". Wish I could have visited the set.

Then I was lucky enough to host a baby shower for my dear friend Emily Taylor. She had her beautiful little girl Avigail Eden Sunday, November 20, 2011 weighing 8pounds and 13ounces with a length of 21inches!

Ashlynn had a friend come and play for the evening. They were both very good and had a blast.

907 Pitbulls <3

We have all had a some colds this year. Sidney wanted the sweat treatment so here she is trying to sweat it out.

A project Sidney and I did. You can't really see the fabric but it has horses.

My Little Ashlynn Jean

80's Birthday Party
I had planed to go with J to Nashville but that didn't work out.
Then I was going to go to Women's Retreat for church but that didn't work out.
I was then just going to go to work but Ashlynn got an ear infection.
So I took the weekend off. Ashlynn was feeling better.
I have a wonderful Step mother-in-law and Father-in-Law who watched the girls and one dog over night.
I went and enjoyed some girl time at Cassie and Sam's 80's themed birthday sleep over.
Trust me this was some much need time away.
So after a really long week and everything falling in to place. I partied like it was 1980.
I love my moms group. I am so blessed to have found such a great group of women. I would be so lonely in AK if it was not for them.
Thank you ladies for everything.
xoxo

My Post on FB

I have thought a lot about this. I have decided that Facebook has been too much of a distraction in my life. I need to focus on the important stuff. I well be taking a break from Facebook for a while. I well posting blogs and well checking my e-mail at least once a week. You can call or write and send a snail mail letter. If you really are wanted to see me and my family you can always come for a visit. Alaska is a great place to visit all year round. I am always willing to host guests. Even in the winter you won’t get bored I have lots for you to do ;). So keep in touch as I enjoy my family and my life without FB distractions. And be looking for small Christmas gifts from the Akers Clan.

Love and Blessing to you all

Marriage after 7 years

After 7 years of marriage I have learned lots and not enough. I Love my husband and all that he does. We have had our ups and downs but that's life right?!? I have learned to love him for who God made him and nothing else. I have stooped having exceptions and thinking he well be super human. I wish but that is for God to do. I am perfectly happy with my un-perfect husband. I can not fix him or try to fix him any more. The Mrs. Fix-it instint in me has trouble with that one. But I well leave it to God to do the fixing.I well let the Holy spirt work through me to him and let the holy spirit work in him. Our life is what we make it and what we have or don't have well not make us happy. We have gone through a wonderful adventure together with may more years to come. I am so glad that he is who he is and I am who I am. God sure does turn dust into something beautiful.

Dreams

I attended a connect (women 's bible study) at my church a couple of weeks ago and this was our first lesson Dream Big, and Dream God Dreams
I never really wrote down my dreams or dream' t in big goals. maybe I was just to hard on myself and did not want to write down things I might not accomplish.. I see now that it is kind of important to do this. It helps us keep our heads up. Dreams keep us thinking things can get better. I truly never thought of things I wanted to do that were really big. I have always wanted to go to the rain forest So that is where I will start my list.

Go to the rain forest

Go on a missions trip

Have a Big wedding

Finish my house and Yard

Hold my Grand Kids

Watch my daughters get married

Go on a long road trip

Go to Germany

Go to Ireland

Have a supermodel body

Retire from the Air National Guard as a Chief Master Sgt.

I am sure there are many more and things I will add as my life goes on but until then enjoy and dream big!

GOALS FOR 2011

Goal #1: Go with the flow and be happy even when our routine is not the same every day.
Goal #2: Take paci away once Ashlynn is done teething. (hoping that well help her sleep better)
Goal #3: Call everyone on the b-days
Goal #4: Don't become overwhelmed. It doesn't have to get done all in one day.
Goal #5: Talk directly to whom I am speaking do not yell from room to room, or walk away while talking.
Goal #6 Growing where I am planted.
